Jose graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science. For the next couple of years, he worked as a Data Engineer in Silicon Valley, learning the ins and outs of tech world and becoming familiar with big data. Now, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University.

Jose has been teaching Math, Computer Science and Languages since he was in high school, and enjoys infusing his teaching with enthusiasm and novel perspectives. Though his favorite subject is Math, he also loves teaching and having conversations in Spanish and French.

Jose’s expertise include SCAT/ISEE/DSAT/ACT Test Prep, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Spanish, AP French and undergraduate math and statistics.

Ian graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He has extensive experience in scientific research from cancer at MIT to materials science research for NASA.

As a PhD student at EPFL, “Europe’s MIT”, he taught undergraduates which rekindled a love for mentorship. Ian has been tutoring since he was eight. He helps students problem solve efficiently and have more self compassion while learning.

Ian’s academic expertise extends from middle school to college level math and science and he has guided dozens of students to near perfect scores on the ACT, Digital SAT, and GRE. He achieved a perfect score on his first GRE attempt (340/340).
