Our team.
Jose graduated from UC Berkeley in 2019 with a degree in Computer Science. For the next couple of years, he worked as a Data Engineer in Silicon Valley, learning the ins and outs of tech world and becoming familiar with big data.
Jose has been teaching Math, Computer Science and Languages since he was in high school, and enjoys infusing his teaching with enthusiasm and novel perspectives. Though his favorite subject is Math, he also loves teaching and having conversations in Spanish and French.
Jose’s expertise include ACT/SAT Test Prep, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Physics, AP Spanish, AP French. He specializes in GATE curriculum development.
Ian graduated from UC Berkeley in 2019 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He has extensive experience in scientific research from cancer at MIT to materials science research for NASA.
As a PhD student at EPFL, “Europe’s MIT”, he taught undergraduates which rekindled a love for mentorship. Ian has been tutoring since he was eight. He helps students problem solve efficiently and have more self compassion while learning.
Ian’s academic expertise spans AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, calculus and his test taking expertise includes the ACT, Digital SAT, and GRE (which he scored a perfect 340/340 on his first try).
